We are certified according to the DIN EN ISO 90010:2015 standard, which defines the basics of quality management, and IATF 16949:2016, the standard for the automotive industry. The quality standard is the standard requirement for automotive suppliers. With our precision turned parts and special solutions, we are guaranteed to meet the quality requirements. We attach particular importance to the fact that quality management is not just the task of one department. We implement this philosophy in all structures and processes of the entire company. It is a significant part of our corporate culture.
Key figure-based process development and optimisation for excellent quality results
For us, quality is not a product of chance, but the result of many optimised and coordinated sub-processes.
We use machine data collection to monitor, analyse and improve our processes. We track our processes digitally in order to identify and eliminate possible defects at an early stage. In this way, we are constantly pursuing the idea of Industry 4.0.
SPC (statistical process control)
With this approach, we continuously monitor all manufacturing processes and record key figures to ensure the high standards of quality management. With the help of the collection and evaluation of relevant key figures, we monitor our results and processes both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Use of the latest measurement technology
At WMT Präzisionsteile, we use state-of-the-art measuring technology for quality assurance. This enables us to measure the quality of complex components in a process-reliable and reproducible manner.
Automated test systems for the highest quality assurance requirements
In order to meet the highest customer requirements (e.g. fully automated further processing and assembly) for our precision turned parts, we have the most modern automated testing facilities at our disposal.
Apply common QA tools
The Automotive Quality Core tools are central building blocks of an effective quality management system. We use tools such as the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), the 8D Report, the 5-Why Method and others.
REACh and RoHS
The REACh regulation and the RoHS directive regulate the materials and chemicals used in the production process. We know the requirements for materials and fulfil them reliably. In addition, we are happy to advise you on the choice of suitable materials.
